Our favourite Spanish destinations (and how to bring a little bit of Spain home)

There’s something about Spain that people don’t really forget.

It’s not just the places - it’s the way life feels when you’re there. Long evenings that don’t feel rushed, food that’s always shared, and a slower rhythm that makes everything feel a bit more intentional.

These are a few of our favourite Spanish destinations, and the parts of each one that always stay with us.

Seville

Seville is all about warm evenings that stretch on longer than expected.

People sit outside late into the night, food is never rushed, and everything feels centred around conversation and sharing.

It’s the kind of place that reminds you that dinner doesn’t need to be one plate per person - it can be lots of small things in the middle of the table, picked at slowly.

That idea of sharing is something we’ve always loved, and it’s a big part of what inspired Que Rico.

San Sebastián

If you love food, San Sebastián feels like a dream.

It’s known for pintxos culture - small bites, eaten standing up, hopping from bar to bar, trying a little bit of everything.

Nothing is overcomplicated. It’s all about flavour, quality and sharing moments without overthinking them.

That same idea shows up in how we think about crisps - simple ingredients, designed for sharing, with flavours that feel balanced rather than overwhelming.

Mallorca

Mallorca is full of slow afternoons and gorgeous beaches.

Long lunches, salty air, and food that tastes better because of where you are rather than how complicated it is.

It’s the kind of place where time doesn’t feel as structured, and everything feels a bit more relaxed. Reminding us to slow down and appreciate the small moments.

Madrid

Madrid is full of energy and movement, but always with a pause for food.

Aperitivo culture is huge - people meeting before dinner, ordering something small, staying longer than planned.

It’s social, it’s loud, it’s about connection.

And again, it comes back to that same idea: food is never just food - it’s part of the moment.

You don’t need a flight to experience that feeling.

Sometimes it’s as simple as slowing down for an evening, putting food in the middle of the table, and letting people stay a little longer.

If you can’t make it to one of these fantastic destinations this Summer, then bring a slice of Spain to your home with Que Rico crisps. Made with Spanish potatoes and cooked in 100% Spanish olive oil, they’re the perfect treat to remind yourself to slow down and enjoy little moments of sunshine.
